As a climbing guide, I provide opportunities to try something new and challenging in a supportive setting. I help climbers improve their mind-body connection by developing attention and self-awareness through upward movement. I aim to cultivate relationships between people and outdoor spaces and increase understanding of public lands, ecology, and cultural history.
As a former youth climbing coach, I love working with young climbers and families. I also am motivated by creating space for women and gender minorities to gain competency with technical skills.
Skills: I teach trad and sport lead climbing, anchor building, rappelling, lead and top-rope belaying, multi-pitch skills, self-rescue, and climbing movement skills.
Guided Climbing: I’m available for guided multi-pitch and top-rope climbing for individuals, groups, and families.
Locations: My outdoor classrooms include Joshua Tree National Park, Red Rock Canyon, Icicle Creek in Leavenworth, Mazama’s Fun Rock crags, Mt. Erie, Index Town Walls, Moab and Indian Creek, Frenchman’s Coulee in Vantage, Washington Pass, Squamish, and Seattle-area crags, depending on the season.
